What you'll do

  • Initiate and lead conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust.
  • Be a strategic design thinker using design thinking principles and represent RSM as a Workday Design Partner influencing and testing Workday design.
  • Contribute technical knowledge of Workday and areas of COE partnerships; anticipate stakeholder needs and develop solutions.
  • Nurture relationships with key HR partners to understand strategic roadmaps and emergent needs; manage expectations and deliver solutions on time.
  • Prioritize large-scale COE-Workday projects within and across COEs aligned to HR strategy; prioritize ad hoc requests, defects, reports, and security/access tickets.
  • Optimize configuration and ensure smooth operation of Workday within assigned modules; analyze configuration vs desired functionality and diagnose gaps.
  • Provide clear and detailed documentation of functional requirements, create project plans, manage testing plans, and lead organizational change and socialization initiatives.
  • Lead a dedicated team of analysts, fostering continuous improvement and technological empowerment.
  • Familiarize with upcoming Workday release functionality and explore ways to utilize new features to add efficiencies.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in Workday
  • Ability to translate functional requirements to technical language and vice versa; experience facilitating discussions between technical and functional groups
  • Extensive experience in one or more HR subject areas (e.g. Payroll, Time and Attendance, Core HR)
  • Proven experience in Workday system configuration at a Functional Admin level
  • Experience solving configuration and integration issues through root-cause analysis and independent testing
  • Fostering a collaborative environment and building partnerships between business clients and team members
  • Strategic thinking and planning with focus on growth, learning, and integrity
  • Effective communication to articulate vision and build trust among stakeholders
