Web Developer (Back-End)

Position Description: We are seeking a Web Developer to own the technical health of our marketing website and focus specifically on the back-end. This person will make sure our site is fast, secure, stable, measurable, healthy and always on, so that our Front-End Designer & Developer can stay focused on how it looks and converts. This position will own the WordPress platform end to end: hosting and environments, plugin architecture and updates, security and backups, performance and uptime, technical SEO, and the tracking and integration layer that connects our website to HubSpot and the rest of the marketing stack. Our Web Developer will be the technical authority on the website inside a marketing organization that moves quickly, and have the autonomy to build the standards, environments, and documentation to keep the site healthy and safe. If you like owning a platform, catching problems before anyone else notices and maintaining functional documentation, this role was made for you. NOTE: To be considered for the position, applicants must share work samples that demonstrate technical judgment. Examples include documentation authored, a site you own end to end, or a written walkthrough of a technical problem you diagnosed and solved.
