What you'll do

  • Provide legally compliant, specially designed instruction (SDI) and deliver compensatory education services (when indicated) to students with active Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Develop and execute data-driven, individualized lesson plans to target critical skill areas: Reading and literacy development, Foundational math skills and intervention, Executive functioning and organizational strategies, Functional and adaptive life skills.
  • Own the creation, management, and ongoing progress monitoring of student IEPs, including case management responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the student's IEP team to coordinate service schedules and tailor instructional approaches to unique student needs.
  • Administer screenings, conduct progress monitoring, and complete formal outcomes assessments to drive instructional decision-making.

  • Exceptional collaborative communication skills for engaging with IEP teams, including teachers, parents, and students.
  • Proficiency in conducting virtual services using meeting platforms and a strong command of instructional technology.
  • Dedicated, private workspace with a secure, high-speed internet connection, reliable computer, and webcam.
  • Availability during traditional school hours (8:00am - 4:00pm) and days (Monday-Friday).
  • Commitment to a minimum availability of 10 hours per week.
