What you'll do

  • Provide direct and indirect social work services to children and families, addressing psychosocial and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with school/IEP teams to develop treatment plans and IEPs with measurable social work goals.
  • Serve as a systemic expert on cultural, familial, and societal factors affecting student behavior, performance, and well-being.
  • Lead mental health and behavioral interventions, including positive behavioral intervention strategies and comprehensive mental health evaluations.
  • Support families and school staff with parental guidance and training on behavior management techniques.

What they require

  • Active Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW).
  • Valid state license or certificate for K-12 school practice.
  • Minimum one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience (internships excluded).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all National SSW Practice Model domains.
  • Expertise in MTSS frameworks, counseling, and psycho-educational evaluations.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging diverse students, families, and school staff.
  • Access to a private, secure workspace with reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet.
  • Availability during traditional school hours (8:00 am–3:00 pm, Monday–Friday); minimum 15 hours per week preferred.
