Full-time virtual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active CA license. Requires MSPAS with NCCPA certification or accredited FNP master's with national certification, plus 2 years recent advanced-practitioner experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine seeing all ages. Must work 40 hours including evenings and every other weekend, with shifts from 6am–12am PST.

What you'll do

  • Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
  • Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
  • Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

What they require

  • Completion of Master's Degree in a Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) and is maintaining active NCCPA certification OR completion of Master's Degree in an accredited FNP program with a national certification.
  • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least: 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
  • Currently licensed in CA with ability to obtain additional state licenses
  • Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday AND or Sunday required)
  • Current shifts range from (6am - 12am PST)
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • A passion for human-centered primary care
  • The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
  • The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
  • The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery

  • The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
  • One Medical participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
