Vigilant IT Security Manager

We’re searching for a Vigilant IT Security Manager to help us get our IT security systems up to spec, secure our networks and keep the vital organs of our team working! We are achieving this vision through the following two missions: To fully digitise the construction of human civilisation To create a new type of organisation that enables human flourishing while delivering a huge positive impact on society ___________________________________________________________ The Role Purpose of the role As the IT Security Manager at Laminar, you will play a pivotal role in managing our IT security systems, identifying and closing any cybersecurity risk we hold, whilst also ensuring the smooth operation and development of the IT function. Your primary focus will be on maturing our security systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices, particularly in alignment with relevant accreditations such as ISO 27001 and SOC2. Additionally, you will be responsible for all Laminar’s IT related policy and business rules, the managing of software, hardware and infrastructure management, and establishing SLAs for user support.

Team Our IT team is the first port of call when things go wrong, and the first to spot trouble before it does. From fixing the everyday snags to keeping systems, networks, and data running securely behind the scenes, they keep the business moving so everyone else can get on with their work. Your leadership and coordination will ensure that the IT team continues to deliver high quality support for all departments within Laminar.

Your top three objectives Identify and mitigate IT security risks and close gaps in our systems. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC2 standards and regulations. Develop and maintain a high-performing IT department.
