Responsibilities:
Translate and/or post-edit video game content, including UI, dialogue, narrative, help text, and marketing materials. Proofread and QA localized text to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural authenticity. Collaborate remotely with Side Localisation project management and linguistic teams.
Requirements
Native-level German and excellent English. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in localization, ideally with video game content. Familiarity with MTPE workflows. Proficiency in memoQ preferred. Reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enthusiastic about gaming. Must be able to receive payment in Japanese Yen (JPY). Please include your standard rates in JPY for translation, proofreading, and MTPE in your application. As part of our selection process, candidates will be required to complete a short, unpaid translation and MTPE trial.
