What you'll do

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and professional videos.
  • Create both short-form and long-form content.
  • Build edits around strong storytelling, pacing, and audience attention.
  • Create compelling openings and maintain viewer interest throughout each video.
  • Align every edit with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and marketing goals.
  • Adapt editing styles based on platform, audience, and content purpose.
  • Create platform-native video content for: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube & YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Websites, Paid advertising campaigns.
  • Adapt content into multiple aspect ratios, including: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1.
  • Repurpose footage into multiple pieces of content without making each version feel repetitive.
  • Optimize exports for the appropriate combination of quality, file size, and platform requirements.
  • Understand how editing styles differ between short-form social content, long-form video, and advertising creative.
  • Add professional: Captions, Titles, Lower thirds, Motion graphics, Transitions, Visual overlays.
  • Use tools such as Adobe After Effects and Canva when appropriate.
  • Maintain consistent typography, visual language, and brand presentation.
  • Enhance videos without over-editing or distracting from the core message.
  • Clean and balance audio for professional output.
  • Improve dialogue clarity and reduce unwanted background noise.
  • Handle audio syncing and volume leveling.
  • Add appropriate licensed music and sound effects.
  • Perform color correction and grading.
  • Maintain visual consistency between different cameras, clips, and environments.
  • Import, organize, and maintain raw footage and creative assets.
  • Keep project files and folder structures clean and consistent.
  • Maintain clear version control throughout revision cycles.
  • Archive completed projects so footage and assets can be easily retrieved and repurposed.
  • Manage multiple editing projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Work closely with: Marketing teams, Content strategists, Creative teams.
  • Receive and manage feedback through tools such as Frame.io and shared review systems.
  • Turn revisions around quickly while maintaining quality.
  • Communicate clearly about timelines, creative requirements, and deliverables.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback without losing consistency or creative direction.
  • Review content performance metrics including: Watch time, Audience retention, Engagement, CTR.
  • Identify patterns in high- and low-performing content.
  • Apply performance insights to future edits.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to test new hooks, formats, pacing, and creative approaches.
  • Continuously improve editing decisions based on actual audience behavior.
  • Review and organize incoming footage and creative briefs.
  • Edit short-form and long-form videos.
  • Create social media and marketing campaign content.
  • Add captions, graphics, transitions, and sound design.
  • Perform audio cleanup and color correction.
  • Create platform-specific versions and exports.
  • Review feedback and complete revisions.
  • Analyze content performance to improve future edits.
  • Archive completed projects and maintain organized creative files.
