What you'll do

  • Instruction of veterinary medical students (didactic and laboratory)
  • Consultation and support for clinicians in the Ross University Veterinary Clinic
  • Continuing education, committee service, and curriculum development
  • Develop an extramurally funded research program
  • Collaboration with other scientists and advising of graduate student research
  • Publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Contribute to the development of novel research initiatives

What they require

  • Advanced residency training in Anesthesia and Pain Management required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology (ACVAA or ECVAA) preferred
  • PhD preferred
  • Research expertise evidenced by funded research and peer-reviewed publications required for Associate Professor rank
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching professional DVM students in anaesthesiology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collegial team atmosphere
