What you'll do

  • Advising proactively on safety and health
  • Drawing up VGM plans, RI&E, VGM files and BHV/calamity plans
  • Implementing this policy within the projects
  • Guiding a whole project from preparation to execution
  • Supporting the preparation of VGM plans
  • Carrying out audits and inspections during the execution phase
  • Providing information and training on safety and health
  • Investigating accidents and reporting on them
  • Switching with various stakeholders such as governments, municipalities, client(s) and subcontractors
  • Broadly disseminating the safety program Zien Handelen Leren
  • Performing workplace safety for large rail projects
  • Safety expertise deployment on projects
  • Deployment as HSE manager within more complex works

What they require

  • Natural enthusiasm and good communication skills to convey knowledge and expertise in safety and health and to involve others
  • Result and quality-oriented and able to switch quickly
  • A completed MBO4 or HBO education, preferably in Safety Science and Occupational Safety
  • Supplemented with an MVK or HVK education
  • Certified as V&G-coordinator Execution Phase Rail Industry
  • Experience with conducting (behavioral) audits and accident investigations
  • Various safety training courses such as expert supervisor projects, VOL-VCA and BHV
  • Flexibility and persuasive power in an enthusiastic manner
