What you'll do

  • Analyse player journeys and interface logic across assigned products; switch focus as product priorities and tasks arise, and identify friction, unnecessary complexity and unclear interactions
  • Propose practical UX improvements that reflect the game’s genre, target audience and product constraints, including FTUE/onboarding where relevant
  • Design the UX/UI structure of player-facing screens: flows, information hierarchy, wireframes, interaction states, prototypes and implementation-ready UX documentation
  • Make incremental UX improvements and articulate when broader UX refactoring is needed; do not treat cosmetic screen changes as the default solution
  • Work with the team during implementation, clarify UX/UI logic for player-facing screens and review the result in the build

What they require

  • Strong practical UX design skills: structured thinking, sound rationale for decisions and ownership through implementation
  • Hands-on experience with mobile F2P games or comparable interactive products; casual, puzzle or related experience is a plus
  • Understanding of contemporary UI patterns and quality standards in mobile F2P games, and the ability to apply them appropriately to a specific genre and audience
  • Understanding of FTUE/onboarding, core and meta loops, progression and the way UX can affect clarity, player experience and monetisation
  • Ability to analyse existing player journeys and improve them while preserving the product context and the expectations of its current audience

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work for ZiMAD, a US company with a diverse portfolio of global free-to-play (F2P) projects with a multi-million monthly user base
  • Involvement in the entire product development cycle
  • Career growth prospects within an international company
  • Remote work opportunities
  • Flexible working schedule
