What you'll do

  • Responsible for developing trusting relationships with Key accounts and growing those relationships to ensure maximum share of the Glaucoma and Dry Eye Disease markets.
  • Developing account specific strategies in accordance with AbbVie’s guidelines and values
  • Collaborating with the AbbVie Medical team and AbbVie Institute’s Clinical Specialist in the field to optimize product knowledge and business training acumen.
  • Develop comprehensive and strategic business plans in order to increase market share in the glaucoma and dry eye product portfolio.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews of business territory performance externally and internally.

What they require

  • A minimum of 5 years of Sales and/or marketing/or head office operational experience.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales is required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong business acumen and self-starter.
  • Candidate must be fluent in English. Both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science or equivalent, or MBA combination of experience and education required.
  • Demonstrates leadership capabilities, listening and adaptability skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally within the company.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders both with customers & internally.
  • Highly collaborative with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Position requires evening/weekend work, including overnight travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Key Account Management experience valued.
  • A thorough understanding of the institutional/ Key Account healthcare sector preferred.
