What you'll do

  • Meet and/or exceed sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customer targets.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise concerning scientific and clinical information for Acoramidis.
  • Take a customer-centric approach and engage customers in clinically relevant discussion using approved materials.
  • Analyze sales data to identify business growth opportunities or areas of concern in the territory.
  • Own territory business planning and execution of key company initiatives.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and demonstrate honesty, integrity, trust, respect, and accountability while performing responsibilities according to company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Compliantly partner with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB, Marketing, and other cross-functional team members to develop strategies for high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement a dynamic territory business plan by analyzing the business, competitive landscape, and territory market to drive business.
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain professional relationships with targeted KOLs, physicians, medical staff, key hospital personnel, and multi-disciplinary center staff.
  • Navigate the hospital formulary process and develop strategies to ensure successful product positioning and availability.
  • Anticipate business challenges, adjust priorities, demonstrate flexibility, and develop solutions.
  • Maintain proficiency in selling skills, clinical, market, and product knowledge, and the territory business environment.
  • Collaborate with peers and company personnel to ensure corporate objectives and initiatives are achieved.
  • Plan and organize schedule to maximize efficiency and use of time to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company and represent the company, products, and people with integrity and respect.
  • Complete tasks and projects assigned by Sales Leadership.
  • Ensure all activities follow applicable regulations, compliance, and Pharma guidelines.
  • Travel across the territory for customer engagement, KOL meetings, and speaker programs.

What they require

  • BS/BA required.
  • Preferred: MBA.
  • 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 5+ years in Rare Disease, Cardiology, Specialty, ATTR Product, or indication launch experience.
  • Track record of successfully launching new products and/or new indications into highly competitive markets.
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on plan.
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of holding oneself to a high level of accountability.
  • Ability to influence without authority, internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in using remote technology to engage with customers.

  • Significant travel is required.
