Remote territory outside-sales role covering Connecticut. Looking for an experienced field sales professional with B2B/construction or PVF industry background, strong relationship-building, willingness to travel and ability to manage projects from pursuit through commissioning. Bachelor's degree preferred.

What you'll do

  • Learn Victaulic products and leverage training program
  • Develop and execute territory business plan with Regional Sales Manager (opportunity mapping, sales goals, product promotion plans)
  • Pursue projects from inception through design, specifications, bidding, job site support, commissioning and after-sale follow up
  • Lead inside sales team, engineering and support staff to fulfil quotation requisitions and customer requirements
  • Integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations
  • Build and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, building/project owners and distributors
  • Coordinate with other Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists
  • Conduct job site tool demos, installation trainings and lunch-and-learn presentations
  • Attend customer events outside normal business hours and travel within territory

What they require

  • Previous sales experience selling value-added products/services (preferably commercial construction, PVF or mechanical products)
  • Demonstrated achievements in sales and history of developing long-standing relationships
  • Self-motivated and able to work remote with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem solving, resourcefulness and creative thinking
  • Strong organization, time management and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel; ability to work in adverse weather and handle equipment up to 50+ pounds
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (company offers tuition reimbursement)
