What you'll do

  • Prospecting New Business: drive outbound lead generation, attend local cattle auctions and industry association meetups, field inbound leads and manage administrative tasks alongside field activities.
  • In-Field Sales: perform on-ranch demonstrations and hands-on customer engagement (kitchen table conversations, horseback, side-by-side in pastures).
  • Expanding Existing Opportunities: identify upsell opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers.
  • Hitting Sales Targets: manage pipeline and meet ambitious growth targets and quota.
  • Customer Account Management: maintain close post-sale relationships, support customers and ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding and deployment teams.
  • Territory Ownership: own the Piney Woods / East Texas territory, build relationships with stakeholders and regional agricultural groups.
  • Customer Onboarding: own end-to-end onboarding and deployment experience to ensure customers realise value.
  • Field Learnings & Feedback: gather customer feedback and advocate for customer needs internally.
  • Collaborating with Support Teams: work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and escalate as needed.
  • Attending Industry Events: represent Halter at relevant events to generate leads and deepen relationships.
  • Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: provide input to evolve and optimise US sales processes.

What they require

  • Ranching / Cattle Experience (ability to connect meaningfully with customers in agriculture).
  • Sales & Customer Success Expertise: history of creating new business, negotiating value-based sales, and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Territory Management experience: managing a large territory with focus on sales and customer success, ideally within agriculture or technology.
  • Driven attitude & strong communication skills; proactive and results-driven.
  • Problem solving & collaboration ability with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to Travel frequently within the territory.
