What you'll do

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer support inquiries.
  • Resolve common customer issues related to API usage, onboarding, authentication, integration, and billing.
  • Escalate issues to L2/L3 support or engineering with accurate ticket status, reproduction steps, and logs.
  • Identify recurring questions and contribute improvements to documentation, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
  • Occasionally write technical content, including tutorials, how-to guides, and blog posts that help developers use the APIs.
  • Help manage and grow online developer communities such as Slack and Reddit by answering questions and surfacing feedback.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer support inquiries, resolving common customer issues related to API usage, onboarding, authentication, integration, and billing.
  • Escalate issues to L2/L3 support or engineering while maintaining accurate ticket status, reproduction steps, and logs.
  • Write technical content on occasion, including tutorials, how-to guides, and blog posts that help developers get the most out of the APIs.

What they require

  • Prior experience with Databento's API is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with financial trading and/or market data.
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical support, QA, or engineering.
  • Working proficiency in Python.
  • Preferred: Experience with troubleshooting tools.
  • Preferred: Experience with observability tools.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Preferred: DevRel experience, such as managing Discord communities or creating technical blog posts, podcasts, or videos.
  • Preferred: Experience at an early-stage startup.
  • Familiarity with financial trading and/or market data is strongly preferred.

  • Based in the APAC region to provide support coverage during business hours.
