About the Client
Our client is a fast-growing U.S. digital marketing agency specializing in medical and aesthetic practices, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, med spas, and healthcare providers.
They work with 80+ active clients across North America, providing services such as paid advertising, web design, local SEO, and patient retention. They are looking for someone who can take ownership of SEO strategy, work directly with clients, and collaborate closely with the internal team to make sure campaigns stay on track.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute technical SEO strategies across a portfolio of medical and aesthetic websites. Perform technical SEO audits and identify issues affecting crawling, indexing, rendering, site speed, and organic performance. Work on technical SEO projects such as site migrations, redirects, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, structured data, and technical site architecture. Review HTML, CSS, and JavaScript well enough to identify issues and create clear tickets for developers. Work closely with developers and other SEO team members to make sure technical recommendations are properly implemented. Lead and support a small internal technical SEO team, providing direction, reviewing work, and helping team members improve. Manage team performance, address issues when needed, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, including recent technical SEO work within the last months. Strong experience with technical SEO projects such as site migrations and redirect mapping, JavaScript rendering issues, Core Web Vitals, structured data/schema, crawling, indexing, and technical site architecture. Comfortable reading HTML, CSS, and JavaScript well enough to identify issues and write clear tickets for developers. Production coding experience is not required. Managed at least 2 team members, handling performance and development. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to run one-on-ones and communicate clearly with the internal team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical SEO issues using real examples and outcomes. Comfortable working as a full-time independent contractor.
Benefits
Salary: Competitive monthly compensation starting at $4,000 and negotiable based on depth experience and fit. Contract: Independent Contractor PTO: 2 weeks of paid time off + 1 week of sick leave annually. 100% Remote: Complete location independence, working fully from your home office anywhere in Latin America.
