What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve targets and drive capital equipment projects growth within the North American Food & Beverage market.
  • Sell water and wastewater treatment and reuse solutions to Food & Beverage customers.
  • Build and nurture relationships at all levels within Food & Beverage companies, engineering consultants and EPC’s.
  • Understand and communicate customers’ needs, qualify leads, and work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive, value-driven solutions.
  • Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects that lead to short, medium and long-term success.
  • Foster partnership across other Veolia businesses to maximize synergy with their customers, products and growth initiatives.
  • Integrate aftermarket services, products and chemicals offerings as part of the Veolia solution.
  • Interface and collaborate with other Veolia commercial and engineering resources to deliver solutions.
  • Use technology and tools to track opportunities and provide updates on sales forecasting.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Environmental, Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferable; Degrees in Chemistry or Biochemistry may be considered depending on experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the industrial water treatment field with a portion in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Google, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to work independently and be a self-starter with a passion for selling.
  • Successful track record penetrating new accounts and markets.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships at senior management levels.
  • Flexible and willing to work long hours when necessary.
  • Ability and willingness to reside in the location of posting.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within territory, with estimated travel of 40-60%.
