What you'll do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead project kickoffs, regular status meetings, post-project reviews, and the swift execution of action items.
  • Track project progress and deliverables through established project management tools and reporting systems.
  • Partner with the President on strategic planning for cloud growth initiatives and select on‑premise innovation initiatives.
  • Track execution against strategic milestones and drive corrective action when performance falls behind intent.
  • Contribute to commercial and business planning, connecting technical delivery to business outcomes with Product, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting variances.
  • Provide quarterly budget summaries and variance analyses to leadership.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project related communication across departments.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership review.
  • Facilitate quarterly strategic reviews and provide updates on project status, key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
  • Proactively engage with customers and prospects to solicit feedback and stimulate demand.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Contribute to the refinement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Analyze project outcomes to identify lessons learned and opportunities for future improvement.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent business experience translating technical execution into strategic and business outcomes is a strong advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience managing cloud, software product development, or technical projects preferred.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI tools and workflows to accelerate planning, tracking, and delivery of technical development initiatives and commercialization of new technologies is required for this role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud and software product development life cycles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Fluency in technical software development terminology and tasks at a high level.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Willingness to complete a background information check prior to any offer being extended.
