What you'll do

  • Oversee delivery and provide technical guidance to the product engineering team while collaborating with US leadership on roadmap and priorities, occasionally contributing hands-on to drive execution.
  • Lead architecture, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, access management, approvals, and cost optimization across multi-cloud and Snowflake environments.
  • Oversee RBAC on Snowflake and other internal environments, define policies, and build and maintain internal infrastructure.
  • Provide advice and best practices to teams building internal cloud infrastructure as well as customer environments.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT team on access control, cloud environment changes, and access approval workflows, provisioning / deprovisioning guardrails.
  • Assist with customer security questionnaires, co-author and maintain platform and security policies/ standards, and participate in periodic infrastructure reviews, patching, and vulnerability management.
  • Ensure that all processes and changes align with the organization's information security requirements.
  • Ensure security and compliance by following standards, improving security posture, and managing vulnerabilities, access, and privacy according to Information Security policies and SOC 2 controls.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve security issues across cloud environments, applications, databases, code, domains, and email settings.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen cross-department partnerships and expand joint solution offerings.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from internal teams and track and drive projects to completion.
  • Lead and support tool integrations, if any, and POCs, contribute to company-wide initiatives, and drive activities such as documentation, automation, cleanups, and training.
  • Collaborate closely with US-based leadership, Product, Security, IT, and Customer teams, as well as India practice leaders, to gather feedback and improve products.
  • Mentor and manage a team of engineers in India, ensuring high engagement, defining career paths, and helping with skill development.
  • Hire and onboard team members as needed and maintain low attrition while building a strong, effective team.

  • 5+ years leading engineering teams, driving product and tools development and automation, including hiring, performance management, and career development, while collaborating with US stakeholders.
  • Expertise in AWS is required, and it is good to have experience in at least one other cloud platform, such as GCP orAzure, with a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, AWS ECS Fargate, security and compliance, RBAC, and overall infrastructure governance and management.
  • Familiarity with data platform technology such as Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, and Sigma Computing.
  • Good understanding of security and compliance, including control frameworks, SOC 2 audit support, evidence collection, and remediation.
  • Demonstrated success delivering against long-term and short-term department goals, roadmaps, and OKRs through collaboration with US leadership.
  • Excellent English communication (verbal & written) and stakeholder management skills across different functions.
  • Good experience with AWS, Java-based applications, and security practices.
