Technical Engineering Advisor / DFM Engineer with 7+ years in CNC machining and/or sheet metal manufacturing. Must have strong DFM/manufacturing-process knowledge, technical drawing experience, fluent professional English and German. Remote only from Germany, Poland or Bulgaria, or office/hybrid in Munich.

What you'll do

  • Perform routine Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for high-end customer orders
  • Analyze and support optimization of part designs to ensure manufacturability
  • Conduct customer communication via phone and video calls regarding design and production issues
  • Maintain written communication with customers for problem-solving and technical clarification
  • Collaborate with partners and suppliers (written, phone, video) to resolve manufacturability challenges
  • Provide expertise in complaint handling (excluding formal RMA cases)
  • Support continuous improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes
  • Ensure clear and timely resolution of technical production issues

  • This role is initially planned as a replacement for approximately 1 year
