What you'll do

  • Assist customers in making best use of the Atlassian product suite such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related productivity technologies such as Slack.
  • Help customers integrate systems, automate processes, and achieve efficiencies.
  • Provide expert guidance and solution design.
  • Perform hands-on work with product setup, migrations, upgrades and performance tuning.
  • Take part in pre-sales by offering solutions, providing estimates and producing proposals.
  • Maintain and improve knowledge of the Atlassian product suite, related technologies, and other collaborative tools such as Slack.
  • Use knowledge of Atlassian products to gather and analyse requirements, research and present solutions to clients, and make suitable recommendations.
  • Communicate regularly with a range of stakeholders.
  • Participate in pre-sales, helping define scope and estimates for projects as well as helping in solution design.
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and improvements.
  • Travel to client sites and work on site where necessary.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and migrations for Atlassian applications and associated technologies.
  • Design and implement custom Atlassian solutions, e.g. workflow, plugins/scripts, configuration.
  • Script solutions with languages like Groovy and Python.
  • Perform database administration and querying.
  • Handle web integration of Atlassian and other applications using Rest APIs.
  • Perform system administration for Linux and Windows, particularly application servers.

What they require

  • Experience in technical consulting, with background of Atlassian toolsets is a must.
  • Scripting experience in Scripturnner or with a language like Groovy or Python.
  • Experience with system administration, e.g. Linux and Bash scripting, and database operations.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure setup like AWS, Google cloud and Azure.
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills.
  • Experience presenting solutions to customers based on provided requirements.
  • Experience writing and contributing to technical reports.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to think innovatively and creatively.
  • Team player and strong collaboration skills.
  • Self-starting, strongly ambitious and tenacious.
  • Preferred: Experience with requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Preferred: Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth tech start-up environment.
  • Preferred: Understanding of non-functional requirements for application scalability, availability, and security.
