Position Summary The Technical Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between the Client and the maintenance organization for both airframe and engine matters, acting as a trusted technical representative throughout the lifecycle of aircraft maintenance events. This role manages and coordinates client needs across routine maintenance, minor unscheduled findings, major scheduled inspections, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations — for airframes, engines, and related systems — utilizing Product Line Specialists (PLS) as needed to support events requiring specialized assistance. As the customer's key technical liaison, the Technical Advisor acts as an advocate for the Client and provides expert guidance to support informed decision-making, balancing airworthiness, operational impact, cost control, and schedule adherence.
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Client and the maintenance organization for both airframe and engine matters.
- Act as a trusted technical representative throughout the lifecycle of aircraft maintenance events.
- Manage and coordinate client needs across routine maintenance, minor unscheduled findings, major scheduled inspections, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations for airframes, engines, and related systems.
- Utilize Product Line Specialists (PLS) as needed to support events requiring specialized assistance.
- Act as an advocate for the Client and provide expert guidance to support informed decision-making.
- Balance airworthiness, operational impact, cost control, and schedule adherence.
