What you'll do

  • Act as the assigned accounts' single point of contact to the company and engage resources across teams to resolve issues and requests.
  • Develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Hold regular discussions with assigned accounts to review open issues.
  • Understand customers' contact center and business environments.
  • Know how NiCE CX solutions meet customer needs.
  • Share best practices with customers.
  • Determine ways to increase customer success.
  • Become a trusted partner and advisor to assigned accounts.
  • Use excellent triage and troubleshooting skills and teach peers those skills.
  • Partner with technical support, professional services, product management, engineering, and other teams to ensure technical challenges, issues, cases, and requests are handled properly, stay within SLA targets, and progress toward resolution.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of NiCE CX products and associated technologies, especially those used by assigned accounts.
  • Maintain expertise and currency in telecommunications, contact center, and related technologies.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each customer's environment.
  • Identify customer needs and propose solutions that accelerate customer success.
  • Maintain working knowledge of competitive product lines, differentiators, and industry trends through self-education and NiCE CX resources.
  • Develop and present customized presentations to assigned accounts that quantify and qualify product or service usage, realized benefits, achievements, opportunities, and next steps.
  • Take ownership of escalations in the TAM's area of expertise and handle difficult situations effectively.
  • Develop and drive business cases outlining problems, impacts, proposed solutions, and outcomes that help NiCE CX improve performance and success.
  • Assist assigned customers in preparation for go-live.
  • Build customer confidence as they begin using NiCE products in a live environment.
  • Travel occasionally up to 25% to visit customer sites.
  • Perform other reasonable related business duties as assigned by supervisor and management.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or similar field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 6+ years in a technical or service role in software, telecommunications, customer service, call/contact center, and/or service delivery.
  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical and advanced troubleshooting skills with end-users and customers.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work with little supervision and complete projects.
  • Working technical knowledge of contact center software, design, and functionality.
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment and meeting customer time constraints.
  • Broad implementation skills in both technology and analysis.
  • Experience communicating at a technical and functional level while managing business rapport.
  • Preferred: TCP/IP networking knowledge and VoIP technology exposure.
  • Preferred: Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP and telecom circuits from DS0 through OC-48.
  • Preferred: Understanding of network topology and telecommunications architecture including PBX, carriers, and VoIP.
  • Preferred: Understanding of basic scripting fundamentals.
  • Preferred: Solid understanding of TCP/IP and internet fundamentals.
  • Preferred: Extensive software, telecommunications, and IP Telephony experience using SIP signaling.
  • Preferred: Competent in database and SQL concepts and scripting.
  • Preferred: Analytical, inquisitive, service-oriented, team-oriented, friendly demeanor, early adopter.
