Job Overview: Remote Tax Manager will lead tax engagements and serve as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients. Work with a range of clients, including rapidly growing businesses, successful entrepreneurs, and family offices, communicating regularly to ensure they are taken care of and positioned for financial success. Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a growing client base Managing the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and ad hoc client requests Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns and the accurate, timely submission of all tax filings Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures Delighting our customers with expert guidance and support Available to work between the normal business day (ex. 9am to 5pm) to be responsive to client requests.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Tax CPA or CPA candidate (REQUIRED) 6+ years (minimum) working in public accounting (REQUIRED) Experience working in a client-facing role, communicating with business leaders via email, phone, and video calls Tech-forward; ability to learn new software and comfortable using technology in general Independent worker Ability to coach and train associates Nice to haves : Experience using CCH Axcess Experience using SafeSend Suite Prior experience working with small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, family offices, and individual owners
