What you'll do

  • Develop and manage accurate sales, production, and operational targets based on historical data, market trends, and business forecasts.
  • Maintaining accurate promotional planning and spending information across our planning tools.
  • Ensure contracts/submissions are up to date and tracked effectively.
  • Support with post Promotional Analysis to ensure the strongest ROI on trade strategy.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply and other departments to ensure alignment on targets, timelines, strategies and resource allocation.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations on performance.
  • Effectively communicate strategies and priorities through Monthly Key Account Priorities 30/60/90 to field teams, 3rd party merchandising partners, and broker partners to optimize sales at Target.
  • Provide necessary customer support functions, along with broker team, to ensure optimal sales and revenue to be realized.
  • Oversee the input and management of promotional plans in internal portals (Confido), promo planning tools and customer portals.
  • Review weekly customer POs and make adjustments as necessary.

What they require

  • 5+ years of sales planning and/or retailer account management experience within the CPG industry.
  • Target headquarter level experience is mandatory for this role, including familiarity with Target’s POL portal.
  • Proficiency in Anaplan or similar forecasting tool.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights for leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to align sales execution with strategic business goals through: Data-driven storytelling and insights; Development of primary and contingency plans to deliver results
  • Must be able to travel 4-6 weeks annually.
