The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.

There's never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You'll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You'll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

You are an experienced infrastructure professional with a strong technical background and a passion for continuous improvement. You are customer-focused, committed to operational excellence, and capable of working collaboratively across global teams. You demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Oracle Database Administration (11g, 12c, 19c and above) Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard and RMAN Backup & Recovery PostgreSQL Database Administration and Performance Tuning Linux Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, CentOS) Linux Shell Scripting (Bash) Database Installation, Configuration, Patching and Upgrades Database Performance Analysis and Capacity Management Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes High Availability and Disaster Recovery Solutions Security Hardening and Vulnerability Remediation Experience supporting mission-critical production environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Oracle Exadata administration PostgreSQL Replication and High Availability Solutions Automation using Ansible, Python or Shell Scripting Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS or OCI) Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) Monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, OEM or Prometheus ITIL Foundation certification Experience in Banking or Financial Services environments Knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience with database migration and modernization projects

Mandatory Skills:

Oracle DBA (RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN) PostgreSQL Administration Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning English B2/C1

Nice to Have:

Ansible Zabbix VMware Azure/AWS/OCI Automation (Python/Shell)
