Must have a BSN, deep Medicare Star Ratings/HEDIS/CAHPS/value-based care experience, and be willing to travel moderately to Matter Health locations including Nashville and Memphis.

What you'll do

  • Own Matter Health’s enterprise Medicare Star Ratings strategy and execution
  • Drive performance improvement across applicable HEDIS, CAHPS, and Medicare Part D measures
  • Build and sustain a culture of continuous quality improvement across clinical and operational functions
  • Translate quality, clinical, claims, and operational data into targeted interventions and measurable performance improvements
  • Partner with payers and internal stakeholders to identify care gaps, prioritize initiatives, establish accountability, and monitor outcomes
  • Oversee clinical-quality programs aligned with CMS frameworks, NCQA standards, regulatory requirements, and value-based contracts
  • Lead the design, implementation, governance, and scaling of evidence-based clinical and population-health programs
  • Ensure clinical programs are patient-centered, operationally viable, measurable, and integrated across care settings
  • Provide executive oversight of clinical operations to support efficient, compliant, and patient-centered care delivery
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to identify and resolve workflow barriers affecting performance
  • Align clinical operations with value-based care targets and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee clinical documentation improvement, coding accuracy, and compliant risk-adjustment programs
  • Strengthen collaboration across clinical, coding, compliance, and finance teams to support accurate RAF and HCC capture
  • Oversee provider credentialing and ensure processes meet regulatory standards while supporting a timely provider-onboarding experience
  • Establish appropriate governance, reporting, monitoring, auditing, and corrective-action processes
  • Support readiness for payer reviews, regulatory surveys, and applicable accreditation activities
  • Serve as a dyad partner to the SVP of Operations and share accountability across interconnected clinical and operational priorities
  • Represent quality and clinical programs in leadership forums, board reporting, payer meetings, and regulatory interactions
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team

What they require

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in clinical quality, population health, clinical operations, clinical-program management, or a related healthcare function
  • Significant leadership experience within a large health plan, health system, hospital, multisite medical group, or value-based healthcare organization
  • Demonstrated experience owning or leading an enterprise Medicare Star Ratings or comparable clinical-quality program
  • Deep expertise in HEDIS and CAHPS performance and applicable CMS quality requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in a value-based care environment, such as Medicare Advantage, an Accountable Care Organization, or another risk-bearing provider organization
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing leaders or specialized subject-matter experts
  • Demonstrated ability to translate clinical-quality strategy into coordinated execution and measurable outcomes
  • Experience designing, implementing, governing, or scaling clinical and population-health programs
  • Experience using quality dashboards, claims data, clinical analytics, and value-based performance reporting
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation improvement, coding accuracy, RAF, HCC capture, and risk adjustment
  • Strong executive communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to influence across clinical, operational, financial, compliance, and administrative functions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while remaining closely engaged in execution
  • Ability and willingness to travel moderately to Matter Health locations and markets, including Nashville and Memphis
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Preferred: Active clinical licensure, such as Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or an equivalent clinical credential
  • Preferred: Experience overseeing provider credentialing and provider-onboarding functions
  • Preferred: Experience supporting NCQA or URAC accreditation
  • Preferred: Experience preparing for regulatory surveys, payer reviews, or external audits
  • Preferred: Experience leading quality and clinical functions across multiple locations or geographically distributed teams
  • Preferred: Experience operating within a rapidly growing or transforming healthcare organization
  • Preferred: Experience serving in a dyad or shared-accountability leadership model
  • Preferred: Experience presenting quality and clinical-performance information to boards, payers, regulators, or executive leadership teams
