Responsibilities: As an IOL Manager – Surgical Sales you will be supporting surgical facilities, and you will be trusted to oversee the overall IOL portfolio, showcasing expertise in our products’ benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products by providing high technical consultancy in assigned accounts. You will work with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right customer solutions. In this role, a typical day can include: -Driving total IOL revenue and market share in the territory -Accelerating PCIOL (Presbyopia Correcting IOLs) penetration -Facilitating the Accelerator program in selected accounts -Managing tender requirements working with internal teams -Working with Customer Operations on consignment, leveraging MyAlcon360 -Developing new business with customers to achieve sales targets. -Maintaining and optimizing existing relationships and managing business with existing key customers. -Providing feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management. -Maintaining and upholding an excellent company image. Competencies: •Deep knowledge of all IOLs. Ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products. Ability to competitively position Clareon vs. modified/advanced monofocals. •You will be joining a talented team, committed to outstanding results where everyone shows high levels of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus. •Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both technical and interpersonal. Strong business decision making, based on data, fairness, and consistency. •Experience with CRM applications (such as Salesforce) to manage relationships, complete account and call planning is desired.
