Stardex
Stardex is an AI-native ATS and CRM built specifically for executive search firms. We're backed by Y Combinator. Our customers are boutique and mid-market retained search firms running their whole business on us, and we need someone who keeps them unblocked day to day.
We're a team of five. You'd work Europe hours, partner closely with our support lead, and report into the founders.
What you'll actually do
- Pick up customer questions and bug reports from Slack, go into their account, figure out what's going on, and get it resolved
- Most of this is diagnosing and fixing. A customer says "this isn't working," you find out why and either push a fix or loop in the right person
- Reach for AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) by default to move fast. This is core to how we work, not a nice-to-have
- Work alongside our support lead, who owns the customer relationship. You bring the technical depth they don't have.
- Over time, if you're spotting product ideas and shipping, this can grow into a product engineering role. Not the priority on day one, but the path is real
Who you are
- ~2 years of experience. You don't need to be senior, but you can debug, figure things out, and work independently without a lot of hand-holding
- You over-communicate. This matters more than anything else in this role. You ask when you're stuck, you follow up, and you keep founders and teammates in the loop. A lot of your work won't come pre-defined, and you're comfortable in that gray area
- Solid React experience. You'll be in the frontend pushing fixes, so this one's a hard requirement
- Comfortable with TypeScript and reading/writing SQL to debug issues (we run Postgres, but being technically sharp matters more than the exact stack)
Why Stardex
- Small team, real ownership, and you'll learn a ton about AI, SaaS, and how the recruiting industry actually works
- You work directly with the founders
- We'll give you whatever you need to be productive
- Opportunity to grow into a product engineer to add net new features, or own more backend infra.
Selection Process
- Silver Recruiter Screening
- Client Resume Review
- Client Screening Interview
- Client Technical Interview
- Client Cultural Fit Interview
