What you'll do

  • Serve as a primary operational point of contact for buyers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage shared inboxes and communication channels, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Prioritize requests according to urgency, customer impact, and operational importance.
  • Resolve routine operational issues independently and escalate complex matters with appropriate context and recommendations.
  • Monitor communication for potential operational risks, including delivery delays, vendor concerns, unclear requirements, and customer issues.
  • Maintain consistent follow-through on open requests and commitments.
  • Prepare daily operational updates covering outstanding issues, risks, escalations, and follow-up items.
  • Monitor orders throughout the fulfillment lifecycle, from confirmation through successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with buyers and vendors to resolve fulfillment issues and maintain service continuity.
  • Review orders for discrepancies involving quantities, substitutions, pricing, invoices, timelines, and delivery commitments.
  • Identify potential fulfillment issues early and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records.
  • Ensure order status, communications, and fulfillment information remain aligned across systems.
  • Coordinate operational activities for Cureate events from planning through completion.
  • Manage schedules, materials, vendor requirements, logistics, and stakeholder communication.
  • Confirm operational readiness and identify potential risks before events.
  • Coordinate responses to time-sensitive issues during live events.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication in high-pressure situations.
  • Help ensure a seamless experience for buyers, vendors, partners, and other external stakeholders.
  • Guide buyers and vendors through onboarding from initial engagement through activation.
  • Track onboarding milestones, documentation, compliance requirements, and system access.
  • Coordinate communication and follow-up across stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and proactively address delays or incomplete requirements.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and help reduce delays or drop-off throughout the process.
  • Manage operational projects, timelines, dependencies, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Maintain workflows supporting onboarding, fulfillment, and supply chain operations.
  • Identify process gaps, recurring challenges, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement practical improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate information across Airtable, Slack, CRM platforms, Google Workspace, and other operational systems.
  • Balance process improvement initiatives with the demands of daily operations.
  • Provide leadership with timely and accurate operational updates.
  • Identify and communicate emerging risks, recurring issues, bottlenecks, and operational trends.
  • Track fulfillment issues, onboarding delays, communication gaps, and other relevant operational indicators.
  • Ensure leadership has clear visibility into priorities, risks, and outstanding actions.
  • Raise important issues proactively and recommend appropriate next steps.

What they require

  • Direct Food & Beverage industry experience combined with strong operations, project management, and customer-facing skills.
  • Hands-on experience in F&B, food service, catering, restaurant, hospitality, food distribution, or food supply chain operations.
  • Experience working directly with customers/buyers, vendors/suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with food industry workflows, including orders, fulfillment, vendor coordination, substitutions, and delivery timelines.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operations, projects, orders, events, or cross-functional activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with a remote team.
  • Professionals who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution—people who can recognize what needs attention, determine the appropriate course of action, and follow through until the work is complete.

  • Success in this role means creating greater consistency, visibility, and reliability across Cureate's day-to-day operations.
  • In this position, you will help ensure that: Orders move efficiently from confirmation through delivery. Buyers and vendors receive timely and effective support. Onboarding activities progress smoothly and consistently. Operational risks are identified before they become larger issues. Events are well-coordinated and executed successfully. Operational systems accurately reflect current business activity. Leadership has reliable visibility into priorities, risks, and performance. Processes continue to improve as the organization grows.
  • As part of the application process, you will be asked to respond to an operational scenario.
  • Scenario An order is marked as confirmed, but the vendor unexpectedly informs you that they can no longer fulfill it. The buyer is expecting delivery within the next 24 hours, and the system has not yet been updated. Please explain: What actions you would take during the first 30 minutes. Who you would contact and in what sequence. What information you would communicate to each stakeholder. How you would work to minimize service disruption. What immediate system updates you would make. How you would follow the issue through to resolution.
