Subject Matter Expert – Oil & Gas (English/Arabic – GCC) – Remote

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for experienced Oil & Gas professionals to support a cutting-edge AI benchmarking project focused on Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) for the GCC energy sector. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will create and review realistic, high-quality technical scenarios that reflect real operational, engineering, and regulatory challenges across upstream, midstream, and downstream activities. Your expertise will help ensure AI systems understand and respond accurately within one of the world’s most critical industries.

WHAT YOU’LL DELIVER

• Design realistic Oil & Gas scenarios in Arabic or English grounded in GCC operational contexts (e.g., drilling, production optimization, LNG logistics, HSE incidents)
• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics for technical and operational problem-solving tasks
• Review AI and human-generated responses for technical accuracy, safety compliance, and operational realism
• Contribute to “gold standard” solutions reflecting industry best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Native Arabic (MSA) with strong professional English proficiency
• 5+ years of professional experience in Oil & Gas or Energy (upstream, midstream, or downstream)
• Background in one or more relevant roles: Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering, HSE, Process Engineering, LNG/Gas Operations, Procurement, or Energy Transition
• Strong understanding of operational workflows, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in GCC energy environments
