What you'll do

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails, meeting data-driven engagement metrics during heavy enrollment windows.
  • Guide students, families, and alumni through tuition statements, payment options, balances, financial holds, refunds, and educational tax forms (1098-T / TL11).
  • Answer inquiries regarding registration, add/drop procedures, refund policies, and financial aid options; liaise with Military Affairs or Financial Analytics as needed.
  • Manage tuition payment plans, update CRM configurations, adjust budgets throughout the enrollment cycle, and follow up on returned payments.
  • Process credit cards, checks, and wire transfers into accounting systems; audit past-due accounts and conduct collections outreach; support state escheatment procedures.
  • Track recurring student questions to optimize business processes; help onboard, train, and monitor student work-study employees.

What they require

  • College degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful customer service experience in higher education, banking, sales support, or a student accounts/financial aid environment.
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Familiarity with higher ed software and CRMs (Workday Student, Salesforce, Colleague) is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication, sharp attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset that thrives under deadline pressure.
