Strategic Account Manager for B2B key/strategic accounts in the Netherlands, fluent in English and Dutch. What you'll do

  • Support the Sales Director in managing key and strategic accounts while developing towards independent account ownership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key and strategic accounts across Europe, acting as a trusted partner at both operational and senior management levels.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Service, Parts, Operations, Finance and Product Management to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, business reviews and growth initiatives that support customer success and business objectives.
  • Monitor account performance with KPI’s, identify growth opportunities and lead the resolution of customer issues, risks and improvement initiatives.
  • Support dealer planning, forecasting and commercial account management activities to ensure effective alignment between customer demand, fleet availability and commercial objectives.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Sales, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
  • Experience in B2B key account or strategic account management
  • Experience working with large international customers, ideally within equipment, machinery, rental, fleet or industrial markets.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive results within a matrix organization, without direct authority.
  • Commercially sharp, data-driven and highly structured, with the ability to translate customer needs into measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at different levels within customer organizations.
  • Ambition and capability to grow into full account leadership.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout assigned territories as required, including occasional periods of extended travel.
  • A valid driving license (car) is necessary.
