What you'll do

  • Work with key customers and cross-functional Docker teams to accelerate container and AI journeys focused on developer workflows
  • Gather customer technical and business goals and challenges related to container and AI adoption
  • Create and manage engagement plans across Docker products and new offerings
  • Oversee design-partner rapid prototyping engagements with engineering and customer teams
  • Create, manage, and deliver custom demos and content aligned to customer use cases
  • Deliver enablement and best-practices content to audiences from developers to C-level stakeholders
  • Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally for prospective clients, customers, and technical alliance partners
  • Provide field technical leadership for a regional or area responsibility
  • Gather field feedback from customer, pre-sales, and post-sales teams
  • Coordinate with Field CTO and Solutions Architects to prioritize field requests for product and engineering teams
  • Work with product and engineering teams on workflow and feature alignment to revenue-impacting customer use cases
  • Test new functionality as customer zero
  • Review and contribute to internal technical enablement and customer enablement content
  • Assist sales enablement with technical enablement for new products and services
  • Support Docker’s most important customers with technical leadership around container and AI journeys
  • Gather customer technical and business goals and challenges with cross-functional Docker teams
  • Create and manage engagement plans spanning existing products and new Docker offerings
  • Oversee design partner rapid prototyping engagements with Docker engineering and customer teams
  • Deliver enablement and best-practices content to audiences from developers to C-level
  • Act as a field technical thought leader for a regional or assigned area of responsibility
  • Gather field feedback from customer teams and Docker pre- and post-sales teams
  • Coordinate field requests with Field CTO and other Solutions Architects for product and engineering prioritization
  • Work with Docker product and engineering teams on workflow and feature alignment to customer use cases
  • Support internal technical and customer enablement for new products and services

What they require

  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments
  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing customer relationships at technical and business levels
  • Experience presenting solutions and demonstrations to small and large audiences, virtually and in person
  • Experience interfacing with internal product/software teams including technical support, product, and engineering
  • Experience developing application code and understanding developer challenges
  • Ability to solve technical problems and translate customer experience into actionable engineering feedback
  • Experience developing collateral to help customers adopt best practices
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures
  • Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or adjacent technologies strongly preferred
  • Development, Agentic AI development, SDLC, or Software Supply Chain Security experience strongly preferred
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
  • Experience managing customer relationships at the technical and business level
  • Development, agentic AI development, software development lifecycle, or software supply chain security experience strongly preferred
  • Fluent English required
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% internationally
