What you'll do

  • Design and develop robust, scalable frontend applications using modern React patterns
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to define and implement user-centric features, including API contracts and edge-case handling
  • Build reusable UI components and contribute to a consistent design system
  • Ensure accessibility by incorporating WCAG-aligned practices into component design, interaction patterns, and QA workflows
  • Optimize applications for speed and reliability (core web vitals, bundle size, rendering performance)
  • Participate in architecture discussions and define frontend standards (state management, data fetching, routing, error handling)
  • Maintain build pipelines, including configuring Vite, managing dependency upgrades, and troubleshooting CI/CD issues
  • Mentor other engineers through pairing and technical guidance

What they require

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of front-end development experience building production web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React)
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with state management and scalable front-end architecture (e.g., Redux / Redux Toolkit)
  • Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend teams
  • Solid testing and quality practices (Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Enzyme, Playwright/Cypress)
  • Familiarity with source control and CI/CD workflows (GitHub/GitLab, automated builds, linting, test pipelines, release processes)
  • Practical experience diagnosing and improving performance (browser debugging, profiling, monitoring production issues)
