What you'll do

  • Set the security standards and guardrails for the AI platform.
  • Define principles, reference architectures, and policy-as-code for AI tooling.
  • Specify environment, infrastructure, and authentication methods for agents.
  • Review and build the architecture of AI gateways and tooling.
  • Provide security review, sign-off, and pair on implementation of systems and their interfaces.
  • Make the security review process scale for AI services moving to production.
  • Partner with platform and detection teams on telemetry and lightweight controls (e.g., standardized system prompts).
  • Drive remediation efforts of complex, cross-functional security issues and assist in investigations when relevant.
  • Mentor security and platform engineers and lead technical/SME discussions on AI security.
  • Provide security review, sign-off, and possibly pair on implementation.
  • Scale and streamline the security review process for AI services.
  • Partner with platform and detection teams on telemetry and lightweight controls.
  • Drive remediation efforts of complex, cross-functional security issues.
  • Assist in investigations when relevant.

What they require

  • 7+ years experience in engineering - building and operating systems in production.
  • 5+ years experience contributing and advising on security design.
  • Broad security fluency across infrastructure and enterprise security including endpoint protection, network security, identity, SaaS tools, and cloud security.
  • Deep hands-on ability to debug systems issues.
  • Experience writing high quality code in a typed and untyped programming language.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to align engineering, platform, privacy, legal, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • May be required to obtain a state-issued gaming license as a condition of employment.
  • Broad security fluency across infrastructure and enterprise security - endpoint protection, network security, identity, SaaS tools, and cloud security.
