What you'll do

  • Work directly with customers to understand where the product falls short and iterate rapidly
  • Ensure that AI is at the core of your product and user’s experience. Ship experiences where agents do the work the users used to do.
  • Drive product depth — improving integrations, enrollment flows, and the experience for companies and employees managing benefits globally
  • Partner closely with Ops, Sales, and GTMs to ensure the product can be sold and adopted at scale
  • Make hard prioritisation calls across a complex, multi-market product with real commercial stakes
  • Define and ship an MVP of a new product vertical within the first 3 months
  • Run structured discovery, frame the problem clearly, and move from insight to shipped product quickly
  • Leverage Deel's existing infrastructure and distribution where relevant; we have significant assets to build on
  • Hold peer-level technical conversations with engineering leads, not as an engineer, but as a PM who understands the constraints and speaks the language
  • Use AI tools actively in your day-to-day workflow. Not aspirationally — concretely, specifically, today
  • Navigate constant prioritisation trade-offs with a CEO who is directly engaged with product decisions

What they require

  • Real 0-to-1 experience: you have taken a product from a blank page to something in market, and you can tell that story end-to-end including the hard parts
  • Product taste and war stories: you have shipped enough to have strong instincts about what good looks like, and you can back them with evidence
  • Active AI fluency:you build products that leverage AI and use AI tools in your workflow today, specifically and concretely. Not planning to. Not interested in. Actually doing it
  • Technical credibility: you can hold a peer-level conversation with an engineering lead about APIs, integrations, and data models
  • High agency from day one: you do not need a clean brief or a finished roadmap. You are the person who creates structure, not finds it
  • B2B SaaS experience at a scaling startup or scaleup: managing multiple engineering teams and owning both discovery and delivery
  • Multi-country product experience: understanding that global compliance is a product problem, not just a legal one
  • 7+ years of PM experience with demonstrable Staff-level impact
  • Fintech, payments, or embedded finance background — experience building transaction-based or financially complex products
  • Deep Benefits domain knowledge as a substitute for product craft: we care about how you build, not which industry you've built in
  • Someone who needs the environment to be structured before they can operate
  • Delivery-focused PMs without strong discovery instincts
  • Quarterly planning exists but plans change. New priorities emerge and the organisation moves fast. That is a feature, not a bug
  • The CEO is directly engaged with product decisions — you will have exposure at the leadership level from day one
  • AI is embedded in how we work — in the product, in the process, and in how individuals operate day to day. Everyone has access to frontier AI tools with no limits
  • Releases are frequent. If a client is blocked, you solve it — you do not wait for the next window
  • This is not for everyone. If you need structure to feel comfortable, this will be hard. If that sounds like the right kind of hard, we'd like to hear from you

Benefits

  • Stock grant opportunities dependent on your role, employment status and location
  • Additional perks and benefits based on your employment status and country
  • The flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access
