What you will do
- Own major product components and workstreams from initial discovery through production release.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales stakeholders to clarify business and technical requirements.
- Translate broad product goals into technical plans, milestones, and actionable engineering tasks.
- Design scalable system architecture and make high-impact technical decisions.
- Build and maintain production-grade Python components, ensuring reliability and extensibility.
- Contribute to engineering quality via design reviews and technical mentorship.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience in Python.
- Deep hands-on Linux background and ability to read and review C code.
- Proven experience owning major projects or workstreams end-to-end.
- Strong system design and architectural thinking.
- Experience turning ambiguous requirements into technical deliverables.
- Regular use of AI-assisted development tools in the daily workflow.
Nice to have
- Experience writing Linux kernel patches or kernel modules.
- Proficiency in C programming and debugging skills.
