The Staff Accountant is responsible for the financial management and reporting for a portfolio of clients. Primary Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with important deadlines Perform bank and other account reconciliations Review and approve peer work product Review, prepare, enter, track and report on budgets Set-up and terminate new communities and accounts Accrue expenses monthly Respond to a high volume of phone calls/e-mails from internal and external customers Required Skills, Knowledge And Training Understanding of HOA management and financials including governing rules and regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to meet time sensitive deadlines Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles Strong organizational skills Computer skills including Word and Excel Must be very responsive and have strong customer service skills Must be able to manage high volume of work and multi-task Ability to work independently, but also able to work in a team environment Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor and have the ability to manage strong personalities Certified Public Accountant is required Requirements This is a full time role Up to $10/hr depending on experience 100% Remote
