The company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for the Cyprus entity.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Owning daily operational accounting including journal entries, supporting schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Executing reconciliation reporting and periodic regulatory submissions to CySEC, Central Bank of Cyprus, and applicable frameworks
- Driving data analysis against business drivers to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements
🔑 Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance within a Cyprus Investment Firm, Big Four firm, or financial services/fintech company
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or CPA) preferred
- Working knowledge of IFRS with hands-on experience applying standards to operational accounting and financial reporting
