What you'll do

  • Sourcing, screening and recommending candidates
  • Onboarding new hires
  • Identify opportunities to build applicant pools
  • Establish trust and partnerships with the managers
  • Identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing and testing
  • Effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process
  • Ensure a positive new hire experience
  • Represent the company at recruiting events
  • Create offer letters
  • Maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed
  • Sourcing and assessing crucial talent for our organization
  • Utilize experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting, and tracking against metrics while prioritizing to meet hiring targets
  • Support the North America Commercial Sales business
  • Develop strong business relationships and enhancing your brand to other Avantor professionals by utilizing Talent Market Intelligence tools and resources to inform internal stakeholders and drive recruitment strategies
  • Build a bench of qualified prospects to meet both current and anticipated business needs
  • Reduce time to fill by developing recruitment strategies to include attracting and nurturing prospects via direct sourcing, networking, social media engagement, pipelining and referral methodologies
  • Provide efficiency to the talent acquisition process and expertise in stakeholder management
  • Offer continuous improvement by executing simplification
  • Deliver high impact results
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What they require

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology preferred or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5 plus years of experience managing full life cycle Talent Acquisition process in a corporate and/or professional search firm, and/or sourcing experience required
  • A process-oriented, data driven professional that loves to support operational challenges and make a global impact
  • Strong story-teller with impressive persuasive, analytical skills with the ability to present information to audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Supporter of a culture that embodies Avantor's values to effectively lead, develop and motivate peers with an emphasis on empathy and inclusion
