What you'll do
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Finance to design, document, and communicate commission and bonus plans.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario calculations to assess program changes.
- Analyze market trends and recommend adjustments to incentive compensation philosophy & strategy.
- Process transactions via SAP Commissions to ensure timely and accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly payout calculations.
- Gather appropriate approvals and documentation prior to submitting payouts to payroll.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Payroll to ensure compensation plans and payouts meet U.S. federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- Respond to plan participants on bonus or commission related inquiries.
- Routinely audit programs and processes for compliance and respond to audit requests.
- Maintain detailed plan documentation and rules to ensure auditability and governance.
What they require
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, incentive design, or sales finance
- Hands-on experience designing, calculating, or administering variable compensation platforms, specifically SAP Commissions
- Advanced Excel capabilities to create complex spreadsheets, build models, and interpret data trends
- Strong ability to approach complex problems with data and insights and to communicate complex commission rules to non-technical audiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience in change management and influencing senior stakeholders is highly desired
