What you'll do

  • Establish and influence long-term strategic vision, market direction, and growth strategy for the Family Office practice within PRM.
  • Serve as the organization's senior authority on family office risk management and advise executive leadership on trends and strategy.
  • Drive development of innovative service models, advisory capabilities, and risk management solutions for family offices and UHNW clients.
  • Serve as lead advisor and escalation resource for the firm's most sophisticated family office relationships and high-profile private client engagements.
  • Consult on complex personal and commercial risk structures including private aviation, marine portfolios, luxury real estate, investment partnerships, foundations, cybersecurity, and executive protection.
  • Act as thought leader through speaking engagements, authorship, industry participation, and strategic advisory activities.
  • Develop executive-level relationships with family office executives, private bankers, wealth firms, trustees, estate attorneys, accountants, and investment advisors.
  • Partner with producers and business leaders to pursue complex high-value opportunities.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with carrier executives, specialty markets, and underwriting leadership.
  • Lead development of enterprise best practices, frameworks, intellectual capital, and technical guidance across the organization.
  • Mentor senior producers, advisors, practice leaders, and specialists to advance organizational expertise.
  • Influence talent development strategies and define competencies and training priorities for the Family Office practice.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management, economics, or related field required.
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, JD, CFP®, or comparable) preferred.
  • 10+ years progressive experience in private risk management, family office advisory, insurance brokerage, wealth management, or private banking serving family office, UHNW, or complex client segments.
  • Demonstrated experience advising family offices, multigenerational wealth families, trusts, foundations, and complex private wealth organizations.
  • Expert-level knowledge of family office operations, wealth preservation strategies, trust and estate structures, private wealth management, and sophisticated risk management practices.
  • Industry-leading expertise in private risk management, UHNW client advisory services, specialty insurance solutions, and complex personal risk exposures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of insurance brokerage operations, carrier markets, underwriting strategies, and wealth-related risk management programs.
  • Recognized authority and thought leader within the family office, private wealth, or private client insurance marketplace preferred.
  • Exceptional business development and relationship management skills focused on executive-level relationships.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and executive influence skills.
  • Ability to lead enterprise initiatives and create organizational impact without direct management authority.
