THE ROLE

We are hiring a Sr. Manager/Director, Brand Marketing to lead Brand, PR, and Communications and help make Oscilar one of the most recognized and respected brands in financial technology.

You’ll be a hands-on player-coach: setting the strategy and direction for the function while staying deeply hands-on in building and launching the programs that establish Oscilar as a category-defining brand. As the company scales, you’ll build and lead the team responsible for Brand, PR, and Communications, staying hands-on in execution alongside them.

This is not a traditional brand strategy role. We’re looking for a builder and leader—someone who can develop a bold point of view, turn ideas into programs quickly, leverage AI to dramatically increase the team’s output, and find creative ways to put Oscilar at the center of industry conversations.

You’ll own how Oscilar shows up in the market across brand strategy, PR and communications, executive thought leadership, flagship brand programs, industry partnerships, and creative campaigns.

You’ll also lead our external agency partners and establish the systems, operating rhythms, and playbooks that allow the function to scale.

This is a high-ownership role with direct impact on company growth and reputation.

You will report directly to our VP of Marketing and Growth and work closely with our CEO and executive team, as well as Product Marketing, Growth, Events, and Design.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD

You will create and scale the programs that establish Oscilar as the leading brand in AI-powered risk decisioning.

Brand Strategy & Programs

• Define how Oscilar builds awareness, credibility, and category leadership as we scale.
• Build flagship programs that put Oscilar at the center of conversations shaping the future of risk and financial services.
• Develop industry awards, executive communities, original research, customer advocacy, and other differentiated brand properties.
• Create signature programs that become recognized and anticipated across the industry.
• Turn successful initiatives into repeatable programs that compound over time.

PR & Communications

• Own Oscilar’s PR and communications strategy in partnership with internal resources and external agencies.
• Build relationships with influential media, analysts, industry organizations, and other voices shaping our market.
• Develop compelling narratives around company announcements, product launches, customer stories, company milestones, and category trends.
• Build a consistent drumbeat of stories that strengthens Oscilar’s reputation and market position.
• Identify proactive opportunities to insert Oscilar and our executives into important industry conversations.
• Lead and hold our external PR partners accountable for results.

Executive Thought Leadership

• Build programs that establish Oscilar’s executives and subject matter experts as defining voices in the industry.
• Partner closely with our CEO and executive leadership to develop differentiated points of view on AI, risk, fraud, credit, compliance, and financial infrastructure.
• Develop signature content franchises that create recurring industry conversations.
• Identify opportunities across media, social, events, research, and partnerships to amplify our executives and ideas.

Brand Campaigns & Experiences

• Launch creative campaigns that generate awareness and engagement with our target market.
• Partner with Events to create memorable conference activations and experiences.
• Build integrated campaigns around major product launches, customer announcements, research, and company milestones.
• Develop social, community, partnership, and experiential programs that expand Oscilar’s reach.
• Experiment with unconventional ways to make Oscilar impossible to ignore.

Team & Function Leadership

• Start as a player-coach, personally building and launching high-impact programs while setting the strategy for Brand, PR, and Communications.
• Lead our existing internal and external Brand and PR resources from day one.
• Build the team over time, hiring and developing exceptional Brand and Communications talent as Oscilar scales.
• Own agency relationships across PR, creative, and other specialized partners.
• Define the function’s priorities, operating rhythms, workflows, and measurement frameworks.
• Set a high bar for creativity and quality while building a culture of speed, experimentation, and ownership.
• Build the playbook for how an AI-native Brand and Communications team should operate.

Brand Experimentation

• Launch multiple experiments every quarter to find new ways of building awareness and engagement.
• Use AI extensively to increase the speed, quality, creativity, and scale of the team’s work.
• Experiment with new channels, formats, partnerships, and campaign concepts.
• Develop measurement frameworks to understand what drives awareness, reputation, and engagement.
• Double down aggressively on what works and quickly move on from what doesn’t.
• Build repeatable playbooks that allow successful programs to scale.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own Oscilar’s Brand, PR, and Communications roadmap and translate company strategy into a focused set of high-impact initiatives.
• Design and launch innovative brand programs that increase Oscilar’s visibility, credibility, and reputation.
• Build flagship initiatives and develop new creative ways to engage financial services leaders.
• Lead PR strategy around company announcements, product launches, customer stories, executive thought leadership, and major company milestones.
• Build programs that elevate Oscilar’s executives and subject matter experts.
• Partner with Product Marketing to ensure campaigns reinforce our positioning and category leadership.
• Collaborate with Events to create memorable experiences before, during, and after major conferences.
• Partner with Design to develop a distinctive and consistently high-quality brand.
• Manage the internal resources and external partners responsible for executing the strategy.
• Leverage AI extensively to increase the speed, quality, and scale of execution.
• Experiment constantly, measure results, double down on what works, and quickly iterate on what doesn’t.
• Build the team, systems, and playbooks needed to scale the function.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

BRAND & COMMUNICATIONS LEADERSHIP

• 7+ years of experience across Brand Marketing, Communications, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, or Growth Marketing, ideally at a high-growth B2B technology company.
• Track record of launching creative programs that materially increased awareness, engagement, or market presence.
• Experience developing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
• Experience managing people, agencies, or cross-functional teams.
• Strong instincts for what makes a company, executive, or idea stand out in a crowded market.
• Excited by the opportunity to build and eventually lead a world-class Brand and Communications organization.
