What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary business partner for leadership across Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Client Experience, Finance, and Security, embedding with teams to deeply understand their operational workflows and commercial friction points.
  • Act as a consultative advisor to business leaders, discovering root business challenges behind feature requests and codesigning technology solutions that balance short-term agility with long term enterprise scalability.
  • Champion change management, user enablement, and system adoption across all business units, ensuring new tools, automation, and process updates are smoothly rolled out and enthusiastically adopted.
  • Own and drive Apptegy's enterprise systems ecosystem, connecting cross-functional system roadmaps across IT, Revenue Systems, Engineering, and support teams to eliminate silos and power unified business operations.
  • Translate GTM and operational challenges into a clear, prioritized enterprise systems roadmap while defending trade-offs between speed, scalability, technical debt, and business impact.
  • Drive a culture of support across all internal tooling, ensuring system architecture and workflows adapt to how our teams work rather than forcing rigid, unnatural processes onto stakeholders.
  • Architect and maintain robust data flow patterns across the stack, including CRMs, marketing automation, help desk tools, data warehouses, and custom internal workflows.
  • Design, build, and oversee point-to-point integrations and API connections between platforms, aligning technical decisions with data owners and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Oversee enterprise system health, access management governance, role based security permissions, and data hygiene standards across core platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems analysts, admins, and IT professionals, establishing clear ownership, technical standards, and career growth opportunities.
  • Lead by being hands on technical with your direct reports and partner functions, stepping in directly to solve complex architectural challenges, debug integration issues, or optimize critical workflows.
  • Partner with leadership across GTM, Finance, Security, and Engineering to evaluate, procure, implement, and continuously optimize internal technology solutions.

What they require

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in business systems, revenue operations, IT service management, or enterprise technology, with demonstrated success managing technical individual contributors.
  • Proven experience architecting multi system data flows, point-to-point integrations (APIs, webhooks, ETL/ELT pipelines), and enterprise data governance frameworks in high growth environments.
  • A leadership style rooted in technical credibility, equally comfortable whiteboarding long term system architecture with executive leadership and stepping into the details of configuration, schema design, or integration logic with your team.
  • Proven track record as a trusted business partner to executive and commercial leaders (Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Finance, CX), with deep empathy for user workflows, superior relationship-building skills, and a consultative problem-solving approach.
  • Active commitment to leveraging modern AI, automation tools, and frontier LLM applications to streamline internal workflows, reduce operational toil, and increase team velocity.
  • Preferred: Deep hands-on experience administering and architecting core enterprise platforms such as Salesforce (CRM/CPQ), HubSpot (Marketing Automation), and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience building or managing automated workflows using modern orchestration tools like n8n and Glean, or integrating frontier LLM model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) into business processes.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience or familiarity with IT help desk management, service desk ticketing workflows, endpoint/access governance, and IT service delivery.
  • Preferred: Solid understanding of the B2B SaaS business model, recurring revenue motions (lead-to-cash, renewals, expansion), and operational SaaS metrics.
