What you'll do

  • Own and evolve Crux's partnerships program as a partner-sourced referral and lead-generation engine focused on legal and tax/accounting advisors.
  • Build tiered partner frameworks with activation criteria, enablement programs, and performance metrics.
  • Operationalize partner management in HubSpot to track referrals, attribution, partner health, and ROI.
  • Build and run a repeatable partner acquisition program for law and accounting firm relationships.
  • Develop standardized outreach, qualification criteria, and onboarding motions for new partners.
  • Maintain a portfolio view of partnerships and decide when to double down, restructure, or exit.
  • Build and deepen relationships with institutional partners as senior point of contact.
  • Develop partner enablement, co-branded campaigns, and joint go-to-market motions.
  • Negotiate and manage referral agreements, revenue share, co-marketing commitments, and other commercial structures.
  • Own strategic direction of market intelligence briefings and related thought leadership for institutional partners.
  • Architect and scale events programs including partner briefings, co-hosted receptions, conference activations, and regional roadshows.
  • Coordinate across research, content, events, commercial teams, legal, policy, and RevOps.
  • Lead a team of two direct reports and hire additional headcount as the program scales.
  • Develop career paths and build a team culture of operational rigor, commercial accountability, and creative partner engagement.

What they require

  • Deep experience building and managing enterprise relationships with large, complex institutional partners, particularly law firms and tax/accounting firms such as Big 4 and AmLaw.
  • Understanding of law firm and tax/accounting firm internal BD dynamics, compliance constraints, billing sensitivities, and client referral behavior.
  • 12+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or alliance management.
  • At least 6+ years leading and scaling a partnership team.
  • Experience building a partnership program from growth stage into a structured, tiered operation.
  • Track record of owning a revenue number tied to partner-sourced pipeline.
  • Experience building attribution models and managing commercial terms such as referral agreements, revenue share, and joint GTM.
  • Experience running partnerships built on services and relationships rather than a software product sold into partners.
  • Executive presence and seniority to be treated as a peer by partner-level counterparts at sophisticated legal and tax firms.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across teams not directly managed, including research, content, events, legal, and commercial.
  • Experience running content-led, events-driven, or thought leadership-driven partner engagement programs.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI to accelerate and enhance a partnerships program.
  • Financial services, structured finance, tax, or capital markets adjacency preferred.
  • Clean energy finance knowledge or ability to learn complex technical domains quickly preferred.
  • Familiarity with energy transition partner personas such as commodity brokers/traders, financial intermediaries, cost segregation and appraisal providers, and independent engineering firms preferred.
