What you'll do

  • Develop thought-leading advice on emergence, adoption and disruptions of emerging technologies in AI data security and AI ecosystem data management worldwide.
  • Engage Gartner clients via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, inquiries and briefings to provide tailored strategic and tactical advice.
  • Create and deliver research content: written research reports, presentations, teleconference inquiries, and briefings.
  • Grow the ETT team’s network of thought leaders, startups, vendors, academics and investors for interviews and case-based research.
  • Work closely with adjacent analysts, case-based researchers, and service delivery associates to deliver research and client experience.
  • Ensure integrity of research & analysis of the team.
  • Mentor and guide research; elaborate on evolution and impacts of emerging technologies in the security market.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree; Graduate degree preferred or equivalent experience in cybersecurity field with relevance to AI data security and AI ecosystem data management
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
  • Must be familiar with AI data security and AI ecosystem data management market, service offerings, best practices, commonly used technologies, and vendors
  • Experience with cloud and on-premises data visibility, classification, monitoring and protection
  • Experience with data management for AI model training, management, learning and governance
  • Experience with data security for data at rest, in-flight, and in use
  • Knowledge of encryption and tokenization
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn tools and data sources such as Pitchbook, CapIQ, TechCrunch, Bloomberg, and other forecast/financial data
  • Demonstrate executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines producing high-quality deliverables
  • Excellence in research and writing ability
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; apply patterns and frameworks and defend conclusions
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across multicultural global teams
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% where applicable
