What you'll do

  • Develop thought-leading advice on emergence, adoption and disruptions of emerging technologies in AI data security and AI ecosystem data management.
  • Engage with Gartner clients via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, teleconference inquiries and briefings.
  • Create and deliver strategic and tactical research content (reports, presentations, briefings).
  • Grow ETT team network of thought leaders, startups, vendors and academics for interviews and case research.
  • Provide tailored inquiries and briefings for clients on Emerging Technologies in Security Markets.
  • Ensure integrity of research and analysis across the team.
  • Collaborate with adjacent analysts, case-based researchers, and service delivery associates to deliver research projects.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree; Graduate degree preferred or equivalent experience in cybersecurity field with specific relevance to AI data security and AI ecosystem data management
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
  • Subject Matter Expertise in AI data security and AI ecosystem data management markets, service offerings, best practices, technologies, and vendors
  • Familiarity with cloud and on-premises data visibility, classification, monitoring and protection
  • Experience with data management for AI model training, management, learning and governance
  • Experience with data security for data at rest, in-flight, and in use
  • Experience or ability to quickly learn tools/data sources such as Pitchbook, CapIQ, TechCrunch, Bloomberg and other financial/forecast data
  • Demonstrate executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellence in research and writing ability
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data and applying patterns and frameworks
  • Strong business and financial acumen and deep knowledge of the global competitive landscape within subject area
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural global team
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
