What you'll do

  • Act as subject matter expert for eApplication and data feed areas
  • Mentor and train less seasoned team members
  • Develop and maintain eApplication product offerings
  • Act as primary interface with the business for Firelight and other eApplication tools
  • Translate user requirements into requirements documentation
  • Evaluate information from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
  • Manage requirements status through the project lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Plan, design and recommend business process improvements
  • Evaluate and prioritize critical system defects based on business impact
  • Provide systems expertise and troubleshooting to users, business partners, and other stakeholders

What they require

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 5–10 years' experience in the financial services industry
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with demonstrated progression in responsibilities
  • 3–5 years' experience enhancing, maintaining, and troubleshooting one or more electronic order entry platforms
  • Insurance industry experience & knowledge of Annuity/Life products strongly preferred
  • ACORD Certified Expert (ACE) highly desired
  • LOMA designations such as FLMI are highly desired
  • Ability to work flexible hours or travel 5–10% as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
